Context of and specific resources for assessment | Assessment must ensure conduct of multiple minor maintenance tasks relevant to the candidate's current or intended work environment to demonstrate competency and consistency of performance. Method of assessment | A range of assessment methods should be used to assess practical skills and knowledge. The following examples are appropriate for this unit: observation of completing routine maintenance tasks, including dealing with contingencies such as maintenance problems outside own area of responsibility oral and or written questioning to assess knowledge of safety standards for equipment within area of responsibility portfolio of evidence containing samples of completed documentation third-party reports from a supervisor detailing work performed by the candidate.
